Bollards can be used both indoors and outdoors to protect work areas, racking and personnel. Caps are made of plastic and are removable when necessary. Bollards may be filled with concrete. Base plate includes four (4) pre-drilled mounting holes. Mounting kits and replacement caps available. Baked in powder coat or hot dipped galvanized finish for added toughness.

A: The wall thickness depends on the diameter of the bollard. 2" diameter has a .109" wall, 4.5" diameter has a .120" wall, 5.5" diameter and 6.5" diameter has a .134" wall, and 8.5" diameter has a .148" wall.

Q: What metal are the anchor bolts ?

A: The anchor bolts we have listed in the options section are zinc plated steel.

Q: What is the impact rating of the Steel Pipe Safety Bollards?

A: The impact rating for the bollard is 4,000 lbs. force at 4 MPH

Q: What is the center to center measurement in the bolt pattern please?

A: The center to center measurement in the bolt pattern is 6".

Q: What size footing must I pour to mount a 4.5" diameter bollard?

A: The outside diameter is 4.5 inches, and the base plate is 8" x 8" x 0.625". We recommend a 4" minimum footing.

Q: Are the 5.5" diameter bollards hollow? And if so, what is inside diameter??

A: Yes, all of the Steel Pipe Safety Bollards are hollow. The inside diameter of the 5.5" bollards is 5.25".

Q: Is the cap removable to add concrete inside the pipe?

A: Yes, the black plastic cap is removable.
